Reason the product is recalled
Dux Hot Water has identified a potential electrical safety risk with gas-boosted solar tanks due to incorrect wiring.
The hazards to consumers
There is a risk of electric shock if a unit has been incorrectly wired. Note that there is no safety risk if the unit is producing hot water.
What consumers should do
Turn power to the water heater off at the power point, unplug the cord and immediately call 1300 270 485 to organise a safety inspection or email recalls@dux.com.au
