A limited number of binnacle mount remote control levers designed and assembled by our supplier may be incorrectly assembled and pull away from the remote control. This results in a loss of throttle and shift control. In some circumstances, this situation may cause serious injury or even
death.

If the defect occurs, this situation may cause serious injury or even death.

What consumers should do

Call an authorized BRP Evinrude dealer and make an appointment to have your ICON binnacle mount remote control inspected. If the control does not pass inspection, it will be replaced. The service will be performed at no charge to customers.
