Reason the product is recalled

The light diffuser can be removed, which allows access to live parts.

The hazards to consumers

Risk of electric shock.

What consumers should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the fan.

The supplier, Universal Fans, will be contacting all affected consumers to arrange for replacement of the light kit to be installed by a qualified electrician.
