Reason the product is recalled
Two batches of the product (36919 and 37449) may contain an incorrect gasket that is incompatible with the contents of the product.
The hazards to consumers
The gasket deteriorates to the point where the product can leak or leak upon activation - this can occur 3-4 months after manufacture. If affected aerosol spray is used, the can may release all of the contents of the can in an uncontrollable continuous flow until the can empties. This presents a risk of users coming into contact with the product.
What consumers should do
Consumers should check the batch number of the product. If affected batches are found (36919 and 37449), immediately cease use and isolate the cans.
