Reason the product is recalled

In some instances the front right wheel of walkers from batches FHFHCBR13 and FHFHCBR15 has worked loose or broken away from the frame.

The hazards to consumers

If the wheel breaks free, the walker becomes unsteady and the user may lose their balance. This may result in the user being injured.

What consumers should do

Freedom Healthcare is writing to people who, according to their records, may have a walker that is affected by this recall to provide further information about this issue and details of the recall procedure.

If you or someone you provide care for uses a Freedom Healthcare Quad Walker, check the information sticker on the walker to find the batch number.

If you have a walker with batch number FHFHCBR13 or FHFHCBR15, return it to the place of purchase for a replacement or refund.
