Reason the product is recalled

The Garage Door Opener may present a risk of electric shock to the user such as: the disengagement cable may come into contact with live components; and the printed circuit board cover may not prevent access to live parts.

What consumers should do

Until the unit is repaired, only operate it by remote control. If you need to manually disengage the unit, turn the power off before doing so. Do not attempt to push the disengagement cable up into the unit or prise open the printed circuit board cover.
