Reason the product is recalled
The bike does not comply with Consumer Protection Notice No. 14 of 2011, as the bike does not feature a floating or sliding type brake caliper, and does not automatically distribute the braking effort equally onto each brake lining without needing adjustment at the brake caliper.
The hazards to consumers
There is a potential risk of braking failure, posing a serious injury hazard to the rider.
What consumers should do
Stop using the Bike.
