Reason the product is recalled

The child-resistant closure (CRC) was found on some bottles not to be fully engaged. The bottles could consequently be opened without first pressing down on the cap.

The hazards to consumers

Eucalyptus oil is listed as a Schedule 6 poison in the Standard for the Uniform Scheduling of Medicines and Poisons and therefore poses serious health risks if accidentally consumed.

What consumers should do

The bottle can be re-capped correctly by simply twisting the cap shut tightly. There is no concern with the quality of the ingredient.
