Reason the product is recalled
In the affected batch only, the bolts supplied to fasten the handlebar to the Huffy Slider® are of insufficient length. Although the correct bolts should be 25mm long, 20mm bolts have been supplied in error. This only applies to Huffy Sliders® with the above batch numbers and sold between the dates above.
The hazards to consumers
If the handlebar with the incorrect bolt is fitted, the child using the slider may lose control , resulting in fall injuries.
What consumers should do
Consumers should stop using the product immediately and contact Huffy Corporation on free call 1800 224 094 to receive replacement bolts sent directly to you free of charge. For more information please visit www.huffy.com.
