Reason the product is recalled

There is a risk that in rare cases these Lithium-Ion batteries can overheat posing a fire and burn hazard to consumers.

What consumers should do

The battery packs should be removed from notebook computers and replaced with new battery packs. Consumers will be able to continue using their notebook computers by plugging in the AC adaptor to power the notebook via mains power supply until the battery pack is replaced. Call 13 10 47 to confirm whether their battery pack is affected. Visit the Battery Pack Replacement Program website at http://bpr.hpordercenter.com/hbpr/
