Reason the product is recalled
During packaging the control cables may have become "kinked" due to crimping. As a consequence, the controls can bind and stick and the tiller tines may begin spinning as soon as the engine is started, or may not be able to turned off.
The hazards to consumers
If the defect occurs, this may pose a laceration hazard to consumers.
