Reason the product is recalled
The hot water bottles do not have the required safety warning permanently marked on them as per Trade Practices (Consumer Product Safety Standard) (Hot Water Bottles) Regulation 2008.
The hazards to consumers
Filling the hot water bottle with boiling water may result in it bursting during use, causing severe scalding.
What consumers should do
Immediately stop using the hot water bottles and return them to Knick Knacks Arndale for a full refund.
