The product does not comply with mandatory standard (AS/NZS ISO 8124.1, as amended by the regulation for projectile toys), as it does not have a ring on the perimeter of the rotor to reduce the risk of eye injury.
The hazards to consumers
The perimeter of the blades does not have a protective ring in order to reduce the risk of injuries to the eye.
What consumers should do
Consumer should cease using the product immediately and contact Korbond Industries (02 9605 7088; korbond@ozemail.com.au) to arrange for a refund.
