Tie rod ends to suit the left-hand side of the below Toyota vehicles.

A tie rod is linked with the steering system of the vehicle and is responsible for turning the wheels of the car to manoeuvre corners easily.

Reason the product is recalled

The split pin that holds the ball stud in place has not been provided. The cap can come loose, allowing the ball stud to separate.

The hazards to consumers

Risk of serious injury or death from collision if the ball stud separates whilst the vehicle is in use.

What consumers should do

  1. Consumers should immediately take their vehicle to the place where the product was installed to arrange for an inspection.
  2. Consumers will receive a free replacement of any affected tie rod end.
