Reason the product is recalled
The gas regulator and hose assembly supplied with certain Kickass Portable Camping Hot Water Systems have a rubber seal at the appliance connection point.
The rubber seal may fall out, and if it is not present when connected, it will create a gas leak.
The hazards to consumers
There is a risk of injury or death caused by fire if gas leaks from the water heater.
What consumers should do
Consumers should stop using the hot water heater immediately and visit https://supportportal.kickassproducts.com.au/recall/ to confirm address details. KickAss Products will then send a replacement.
