Reason the product is recalled
Some of the Kingparrot Breathable Mattresses do not meet the mandatory standard for household cots. The standard stipulates that the gap between the mattress (when centred) and any part of the cot shall be no more than 20mm. When it is used with a cot that requires a mattress size of 1320mm x 695mm x 110mm, the gap between the mattress and the cot may exceed 20mm.
The hazards to consumers
The gaps created by the mattress pose an entrapment and suffocation hazard.
What consumers should do
Consumers are advised to contact Boori International on 1800 700 421. Boori will either replace the mattress or fully refund its purchase price.
