Reason the product is recalled

Under certain circumstances a small piece of foam shielding may become free from its mounting and make contact with the power board. This could cause overheating and/or create a live voltage on the frame of the unit, with risk of electric shock.

Turn off the unit and disconnect from the power point.

New Zealand:Vist the web site www.sharp.net.nz or call (toll free) 0800 543 899 between 9am and 9pm (7 days) to arrange for inspection and modification if required. Any modifications necessary will be conducted in the consumer's home at no cost to the consumer.
