The steerer tube or fork may fracture or break during use.

The hazards to consumers

Risk of accident and serious injury if the tube or fork breaks during use and causes a fall.

What consumers should do

Immediately stop using your bike.

1. Check your fork serial number. You can find the serial number on the outer side frame of the left rear dropout or the bike's downtube.

2. If the third character of your bike serial number is:

  • H, J or K – return your bike to an authorised Giant dealer for a free fork replacement.
  • G – return your bike to an authorised Giant dealer for further inspection, and if necessary, a free fork replacement

3. Contact Giant by email or phone if you are unable to return the product or have sold or gifted it to another person.
