Reason the product is recalled

BSH believes that the affected model dishwashers may potentially develop cracks in the printed circuit board within their control module.

The hazards to consumers

During the operating cycle when water is being heated, cracks may potentially lead to melting of soldering material or, in an unlikely event, ignition of a fire in the dishwasher.

What consumers should do

Customers should cease using any affected model dishwasher immediately and switch it off at the socket outlet. Customers should contact BSH Home Appliances to arrange the repair of their dishwasher on 1300 087 033 (option 3) or via www.neff.com.au/dishwasher-repair-action. BSH will organise for an authorised and trained repair agent to attend to the customer's home and replace the relevant component.
