The battery charger and appliance connector do not comply with the Australian standards and are not approved.
The hazards to consumers
There is a potential risk of fire and/or electric shock.
What consumers should do
1. Stop using the charger immediately and unplug it from the socket outlet.
2. Place the charger in a safe place where it cannot be accessed to prevent use.
Replacement chargers will be sent to all affected customers along with instructions on how to dispose of it.
