The filter system has the potential of being an entrapment hazard due to excessive suction when a number of other factors are involved.

The hazards to consumers

If certain components are removed and a person sits on the top of the filter they can be injured due to entrapment.

What consumers should do

Customers will be sent a kit within 2 weeks and will be asked to fit a safety cap to the top of their filter in order to make the product compliant.
