Reason the product is recalled
The transmission shift arm which shifts driving directions back and forth, may crack when a large force is imposed on the joint between the shift arm and the shaft. After repeated use, there is a possibility of the shifting arm developing a crack and splitting. Therefore, if shift arm use continues, in the worst case scenario the arm may break, disabling the transmission. This may cause the vessel to drift, it is stuck in neutral, or to remain in gear.
