Reason the product is recalled

The fuel cap may have a gasket that is not fuel resistant. The gasket could deteriorate and lose its sealing properties.

The hazards to consumers

Fuel can leak past the cap, increasing the risk of fire.

Consumers should contact their local Yamaha dealer to set up an appointment to have the unit remedied free of charge.
