Reason the product is recalled

In the event of an engine misfire, on a Model year 2015-2016 RZR XP 1000 / XP 4 1000 units, unburned fuel can be routed into the exhaust system. This can lead to excessive exhaust heat.

The hazards to consumers

If the defect occurs, the excessive exhaust heat may pose a fire hazard.
