Reason the product is recalled
The Polygon Zenith Town 3.0 Beach Cruiser Bike does not comply with AS/NZS 1927:2010 Pedal bicycles—Safety Requirements, Consumer Protection Notice Section 2.1.14. The bike was sold with a rear brake only and not a front brake.
The hazards to consumers
If the rear brake were to fail, there is no additional brake to stop the bike, posing an accident hazard to the rider.
What consumers should do
Consumers are advised not to ride the Polygon Town Beach Cruiser Bike, until your front brake has been received and fitted.
