Reason the product is recalled
The defect relates to possible overheating of water within the unit. This overheating may cause: Failure in certain components causing a risk of water leaking from the unit to contain an electrical charge; and a risk of scalding when the water is drained from the unit during operation. There is no safety warning alerting users to this risk.

Teco Australia Pty Ltd will contact all customers who purchased the air conditioner. The full purchase price will be refunded upon the return of the unit to the retailer.
