Reason the product is recalled
The hot water bottles did not have the required thickness of rubber. In addition, the hot water bottles did not contain the mandatory warning and instructions as required in the Trade Practices (Consumer Product Safety Standard) (Hot Water Bottles) Regulations 2008.
The hazards to consumers
The hot water bottles may leak, split or burst causing injury. In addition, due to incorrect labelling, consumers could misuse the product.
What consumers should do
Customers should cease using the product immediateely and return to the place of purchase to obtain a full refund.
