Reason the product is recalled

Affected jacks may not comply with the requirements of the mandatory standard for trolley jacks (based on the Australian/New Zealand, AS/NZS 2615-2004) in relation to:
- Clause 6.7 eccentric load

Batch No. 4502472625 may also not comply with the requirements of the mandatory standard for trolley jacks (based on the Australian/New Zealand standard, AS/NZS 2615-2004) in relation to:
- Clause 5.5 overload protection

The hazards to consumers

Vehicles supported by an unsafe or inappropriately used trolley jack can fall onto a person, creating a risk of injury or death.

What consumers should do

Customers should cease using the product immediately and return it to their nearest Supercheap Auto store. Stores will provide customers with either a replacement head-cap for the jack or a refund.

Replacement head-caps are not available for Batch No.: 4502472625
