Reason the product is recalled

The intake grate may detach from the vehicle whilst in use.

The hazards to consumers

Riding at speeds over 88km/h without an intake grate may cause unpredictable vehicle behaviour. This may lead to occupant ejection, increasing the risk of serious injuries or death.

What consumers should do

Consumers should avoid operating the vehicle at speeds in excess of 88km/h. All vehicles already inspected or repaired for previous intake grate recall need to be repaired again.

Consumer should contact an authorised Sea-Doo dealership to determine if their vehicle is affected and arrange a time to have their watercraft repaired, once parts are available (from mid April 2020).
