Reason the product is recalled
The nail gun’s firmware may allow a nail to discharge through use of the trigger alone and not via the usual 2 step actuation process.
The hazards to consumers
There is a risk of serious injury if the nail gun discharges unintentionally.
What consumers should do
- Stop using the product immediately. Remove battery and nails from tool.
- Check the serial number of your tool to see if you have an affected product. This can be confirmed via the Airco Brands Recall Web Page (www.aircobrands.com.au/f35xp-nailer-recall).
- Contact Airco Brands Customer Service to arrange for your tool to be transported and repaired at no charge. Do not take your product back to the place of purchase.
