The fans are fitted to the following wood heater models: Austwood freestanding manufactured in 2002 having a 3 speed switch on the lead; Nectre Mega 30 Pedestal having the 3 speed switch on the lead (1999 to 2003); and Nectre Mk2 Pedestal.

Reason the product is recalled
The fans may be incorrectly earthed. The fan should not be used on these units until the earth has been corrected otherwise if the wiring insulation fails the heater may become live.

Electric shock.
