Reason the product is recalled
In some instances there may be an internal 'reverse polarity' of wiring on some blower models manufactured in China subsequent to 1 July 2009. This means that some units may be wired incorrectly rendering the normal overload fuse inoperable or may result in electrical failures in the event of water ingress into the blower. The likelihood of water ingress into the blower is minimal therefore the risk to the end user is regarded as being very low.
The hazards to consumers
Minimal possibility of electric shock.
