Reason the product is recalled

There is a risk the chairs are unstable. The legs of these chairs may break during use if they are not supported by brackets.

The hazards to consumers

The chairs may collapse during use, resulting in injury. The defect has occurred and resulted in injuries to consumers.

What consumers should do

Consumers should immediately cease using the chairs and contact Fantastic Furniture Customer Care on 1800 430 850 or by email at totoandtarachairs@fantasticfurniture.com.au to arrange a time to visit the nearest Fantastic Furniture store for installation of support brackets to the chairs. Fantastic Furniture will put in place reasonable alternative arrangements for customers who may have difficulties returning the product to a Fantastic Furniture store. Where a chair cannot be repaired, customers will be offered an exchange, or another remedy they are entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law
