The product does not comply with the mandatory safety standard for toys containing magnets, ‘Consumer Protection Notice No. 5 of 2010 - Consumer Product Safety Standard for Children's Toys Containing Magnets'.

The hazards to consumers
If a child swallows the magnet and another magnetic object there is a risk they may stick together across the child's intestinal wall or other digestive tissue, which can lead to internal injuries or even death. The magnet may also pose a choking hazard to small children (small parts).
