Reason the product is recalled
If you, or someone else, removes the plastic cover on the side of the unit to access the controller board to change the settings, you may come into contact with live electrical parts.
The hazards to consumers
There is a risk of serious injury or death from an electric shock if you remove the plastic cover and come into contact with live electrical components.
What consumers should do
Do not remove the plastic cover or attempt to access the controller board on the heat pump unit.
