Reason the product is recalled
The engine cover can limit the travel of the throttle control lever, affecting its ability to contact the stop switch.
The hazards to consumers
The engine on affected mowers cannot be turned off in the normal manner. The defect would be evident on new units during first use.

A customer with a mower that cannot be turned off in the normal manner should move it to a safe location and wait until the fuel is used up and the engine stops.
