Reason the product is recalled
The baby walker does not meet the requirements of the mandatory standard, Trade Practices Regulations 2002, No. 219. The baby walker has an insufficient braking system and no mandatory warning label.
The hazards to consumers
Due to the braking system being insufficient, there is no mechanism to prevent the walker from falling down stairs and injuring the child. Consumers would also be inadequately warned of such hazards due to the lack of a warning label.
What consumers should do
Consumers should cease using the product, and return it for a full refund.
