Reason the product is recalled
The Power Bank battery may contain a manufacturing defect and may overheat.
The hazards to consumers
The batteries may overheat and, in the worst case scenario, could pose a fire hazard.
What consumers should do
Virgin mobile is writing to all affected consumers. Consumers should stop using the Power Bank immediately and dispose of it (including the USB cable it came with) thoughtfully (for example at one of the e-waste collection sites listed at cleanup.org.au.). Please keep the device out of the reach of children.
