Reason the product is recalled

Advanced Lighting Technologies Australia, Inc has become aware of several incidents involving High Bay luminaires where certain capacitors installed in our High Bay luminaires have failed in a destructive manner. The probability of such incidents is quite low, however, Advanced Lighting Technologies has elected to proactively address the issue with customers.

The hazards to consumers

What consumers should do

Corrective Action:
For affected products, Advanced Lighting will provide a lamp refurbishment pack. This provides the opportunity to replace the ageing lamp, and as the same time the capacitor without disruption of illumination.
