Reason the product is recalled
A manufacturing defect has created weak points in the battery enclosure, which may allow water to leak into the battery and cause overheating.
The hazards to consumers
There is a risk of serious injury or property damage if the battery overheats and causes a fire.
What consumers should do
Consumers with affected products are advised:
• To turn off their product and not to use or charge it.
• To keep the product separate from the docking station.
• To contact Fluidra to arrange for the affected product to be picked up from the consumer's premises and the delivery of a new replacement product.
This will be at no cost to the consumer.
