The standard sets out the design, construction, performance, testing and safety markings for bicycle helmets. Blinds, curtains and window fittings mandatory standard Two mandatory safety standards apply to window coverings including curtains or blinds with a cord, and related fittings such as traverse rods or tracks used inside a building. The product must be supplied with a permanent warning label or swing tag, components for cord safety and be installed correctly. Bunk beds mandatory standard A mandatory safety standard applies to bunk beds. The product must follow construction, design, marking and testing requirements to comply with the standard. Folding cots mandatory standard The folding cots mandatory standard applies to folding cots that are portable, used for sleeping and which can be folded when not in use. It also applies to playpens with a floor. Folding cots must have safety warning markings. Household cots mandatory standard The household cots mandatory standard applies to all household cots used as permanent sleeping enclosures. This includes cots that are rectangular with slat walls, circular with walls that have no slats and cots that convert to a toddler bed. Household cots must have safety warning markings. Infant sleep products mandatory standards There is a new safety standard for the design, performance and testing of infant sleep products. There is a new information standard requiring warning and safety information for infant sleep products and non-sleep inclined products. Prams and strollers mandatory standard A mandatory safety standard applies to prams and strollers for their design, construction, performance, testing, safety warnings and labels.
