Campmaster CM2250 twin burner portable butane stove
What are the defects?
The overpressure safety device may not shut off gas to the burner if the butane cartridge canister is overheated. In addition, the risk of overheating increases if the product is not used according the manufacturer's specifications.
What are the hazards?
If the defect occurs, there is risk of explosion and fire.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should stop using the product immediately. A replacement unit is in the process of being tested and certified to meet newly established safety requirements. Consumers can register to receive a replacement cooker by sending an email to enquiries@ahm.co.nz or they can contact AHM Australia to discuss an alternative solution.
