Identifying features

Frames manufactured between September 2011 and March 2012, which are identifiable by frame number starting with AM1A or is in the series AM1102 through AM1207

Frames manufactured between September 2011 and March 2012, which are identifiable by frame number starting with AM1A or is in the series AM1102 through AM1207

Why the product is recalled

The weld between the main tube and the OCL joint may crack and dislocate on affected frames.

What the hazards are to consumers

A cracked/dislocated frame may pose a fall hazard to the consumer.

What consumers should do

Cease use of the bicycle and take it to the place of purchase to enable the serial number to be checked. Problem frames will be replaced by the retailer at no cost. Alternatively, you can contact Bike Box directly via info@bikebox.com.au
