What are the defects?
Saw may not be earthed correctly.
What are the hazards?
Risk of electric shock. Electrical hazard due to possible lack of earth.
What should consumers do?
If the saw is in private use, contact Carbatec to arrange a 'test and tag" as soon as possible. Alternatively, an electrician can check the machine. Do not use the saw until it has been tested and tagged or checked by an electrician.
If the saw is in commercial use, please ensure the machine has a current "test and tag".
Please advise Carbatec of the result of the 'test and tag' or check of the saw by an electrician. If the saw fails the 'test and tag' or the check by an electrician, Carbatec will arrange repair of the saw.
