The motor’s inbuilt manual override crank may be faulty and cause an electric shock when used.
The hazards to consumers
There is a risk of serious injury or death from electric shock if consumers use the manual override.
What consumers should do
Consumers should not use the SIMU DMI6 Hz motor’s inbuilt manual override.
Consumers should contact the business that installed the recalled motor to arrange a time for a free replacement of the motor.
