Affected adapters were sold with the following Dell notebook computers: Latitude CP, CPi, CPiA, CPtC, CPiR, CPxH, CPtV, CS, CSx, CPxJ, CPtS, C500, C510, C540, C600, C610, C800, C805, C810.
Reasons the product is recalled
There have been instances when the affected adapter overheated posing a risk of fire and, to the extent exposed wires could result, electrical shock.
