Lithium ion battery pack for certain Fujitsu notebook models:
1. Sold and shipped together with Fujitsu notebook during the period 2011-May to 2012-July
2. Sold as an option (standalone battery pack sales)
3. Provided as a battery pack replacement for PC product under warranty service

What are the defects?
In rare instances battery packs manufactured by Panasonic Corporation may overheat.
What are the hazards?
If the battery pack overheats this poses a fire risk and a burns hazard to users.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should identify if their notebook and/or batteries are affected and to follow the safety instructions as a preventive measure until the replacement battery arrives.
Turn the computer off, unplug the AC adaptor and remove the battery pack.
Check the Product number and Serial number on the battery pack and see if they match the description shown under "Affected battery packs" if they match do not use this battery pack. To use your computer, power it using the AC adaptor directly.
