What are the defects?
The product was sold without the warning information required for products containing button batteries.
What are the hazards?
There is a risk of choking, severe internal burn injuries or death to young children if they gain access to the button batteries or insert them. Consumers may be unaware that the product contains button batteries.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should immediately stop using the Maxi Trac digital tyre gauge and keep it out of reach of children.
