Reasons the product is recalled
A small number of gas/vapour chemical cartridges (Moldex 7100A and 7600A) exhibit gas/vapour "breakthrough" after shorter duration than the standard, meaning that gases will not be filtered for as long as required by the safety standard AS/NZS 1716:2012.
The hazards to consumers
If the defect occurs, the consumer may be exposed to hazardous chemicals.
What consumers should do
Consumers who have an affected cartridge should cease using the product immediately. Contact Moldex Customer service on (02) 9838-7588 for return authorization and replacement or refund instructions. Return all of the affected products to Moldex, Unit 30, 14-16 Stanton Road, Seven Hills NSW 2147
