Tow behinds incorporating the Quick Hitch connector, sold under the Sevylor® brand
Reasons the product is recalled
The affected Quick Hitch connectors which are used to attach tow ropes to tow behinds, do not comply with Sevca’s internal specifications due to a manufacturing issue.
The hazards to consumers
Affected Quick Hitch connectors may break and pose a risk of injury.
What consumers should do
Consumers should contact Customer Service at Sevca on 1800 224 350 to confirm that they have purchased the affected products. If so, they can obtain instructions on how to remove the Quick Hitch from their tow behind product. Once removed it should be returned to Sevca in a pre-paid envelope provided by Sevca. Consumers will receive a gift in return.
